Can you explain to a CEO what a Hidden Agent is?

Here are some talking points you can use in your conversations with a CEO regarding this powerful language.

Hidden agents are literally invisible to a CEO.

They lie beneath the surface of an organization, making them very hard to see.

Since they are hidden, it’s very easy for a CEO to misinterpret symptoms of growth and misdiagnose the problems.

Hidden agents provide a CEO with a language to use to identify critical issues that may be creating obstacles to their growth.

By understanding these hidden agents, a CEO can get to the root cause of a problem faster, and resolve those problems quicker.

On the GCS Membership Site there are a series of videos that help explain these Hidden Agents.

Under the 7 SOG Tab, you’ll find these videos:

Session 4:  Builder Protector, Modality, and 3 Faces of a Leader: This video will help you understand these three critical hidden agents.

Session 5:  27 Business Challenges: Why are the challenges called Hidden Agents?

Session 6:  Leadership Styles and Competencies: If a CEO is not bringing certain competencies to the table at specific stages of growth, that could be a hidden agent worth addressing.

Session 7:  Non-Negotiable Rules: There are five of these for each stage of growth.

Do you know why the Builder/Protector Ratio is also called the Confidence/Caution Ratio?

What’s the difference between Dominant, Facilitative and Supportive when talking about the Leadership Modalities?

Why does the Manager face show up at 70% in Stage 4?

My belief is this: The better you understand the concepts of this powerful model, the easier it will be for you to engage a CEO in a critical conversation.

Those critical conversations are powerful lead generators for you because you can establish in the CEO’s mind that you have insights into why certain things are happening for that company today, how to get ahead of the new challenges that are coming and provide strong solutions to their ‘stage specific’ issues.

Thank you for being a part of my Growth Curve Community and for actively learning more about the 7 Stages of Growth.

Your success. My passion.
